Rasheda Kamaria Williams is an award-winning communications strategist, TEDx speaker, author and social entrepreneur known for her ability to craft and elevate stories that inspire action and impact.
With more than 20 years of experience shaping narratives in the small business, corporate and nonprofit sectors, she has consulted national and global organizations to strengthen their messaging and media presence.
A natural storyteller with a journalist’s eye for truth and clarity, Rasheda began her career in newsrooms before transitioning into communications. Her gift for crafting compelling, culturally resonant stories has earned her personal features in Cosmopolitan Magazine, Business Insider, and the cover of the National Association for the Self-Employed Magazine.
Rasheda’s PR and strategic communications work extends beyond storytelling. She is the founder of Empowered Flower Girl, a social enterprise on a mission to transform the way young relate to one another, others and themselves. Leveraging her PR and communications background, Rasheda earned numerous accolades on behalf of the company, including recognition as one of “29 Inspirational Female Entrepreneurs Who Are Positively Impacting the World,” MentHer Magazine’s “Top 20 Social Impact Founders,” Hope Magazine’s Hope 25, and the 2024 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for Service.
She is a graduate of the Journalism Institute for Media Diversity at Wayne State University and a proud Cass Tech alumna.
